Jobseekers allowance

Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) is a benefit available for people of working age who are out of work. JSA may be available if a person is out of work or working less than 16 hours a week on average. To be eligible any applicant must be capable of working, available for work, actively seeking work and below state pension age.
